Four seeds
"Four Seeds," the debut book by Eran Ofir Turner, moves between his personal story and statements on current affairs. Eran describes his experiences in the desert through encounters with abandoned buildings and objects that have lost their meaning, and in the process of documentation, words are woven that create poetry. Poetry for Eran is a resonant dance of situations, actions, or memories frozen in time, with the help of which he manages to jump over the hurdles and move in the movement of life.

A branch in the storm
Branch on a branch
In the midst of a storm
We will hold on to the last bit of his strength,
He is not ready to leave yet.
Surrounded by mists,
Blurred vision.
We will hold on to the rest of the world,
Like the leaves of a swaying tree,
Waiting for calm.
She will come out with her rainbow of colors,
The back of its wings will be beautiful,
Give strength to renewal
In full force.
In the midst of a storm,
He will show himself strong and steadfast.
When he refused to be convinced.
Abundant in my glands
I am overwhelmed by my sadness –
In the body, in the breastbone
In the evening, the bearer of the sound
In my wrinkled skin
In eggs that have gone silent.
My Babylonian infatuation –
Ability to provide protections
In the name of life wisdom
In comfortable words
And with the voice of the minister of hope.
My Bible is a book.
Above and below,
Like a flower that blooms in the torment of a passing moment,
The hamster has its strength and its slimness.
Wisdom is simple in humility.
In those words
In these words
The gates of peace will open,
The cliché will be retired,
The window will stop rusting.
And poverty will be prevented.
In vain we struggled to open it.
In these words
We folded the pain with a sock,
Pushed into the pile of losers –
The disappeared who will never return.
In these words
We will wear a smile on our lips,
Remembered with caressing love
And we will continue to dream.
